ZEBU FORNO PROMOTES DANIELLE DE ANGELO TO TRAINING SPECIALIST
RED BANK, N.J. (2/4/08)—Zebu Forno, the European-style bakery and café, has promoted Danielle M. De Angelo, to training specialist.
De Angelo, who has served as manager of Zebu’s flagship, company-owned location in Red Bank since January 2005, will also continue in that role. In her new position, she will be responsible for training new franchisees at the Zebu corporate location prior to opening, as well as working on site with the franchisees and their staff during their grand opening phase. She reports to Ryan Timmons, general manager of Zebu Forno Franchise LLC.
De Angelo joined Zebu Forno in November 2003 as a customer service associate and was subsequently promoted to assistant manager. She began her career in 2001 at Chelsea Home, an upscale interior design boutique in Red Bank, where she was ultimately responsible for all areas of store operations.
“Through her role as manager, Danielle is well versed in all phases of store operations and has been responsible for training our own employees for over two years,” said Timmons. “Her promotion to training specialist represents a natural transition.”
A resident of Shrewsbury, N.J., De Angelo attended Montclair State University, Montclair, N.J., where she studied food science and nutrition dietetics.
Zebu’s flagship company-owned location opened in 2001 on Broad Street in downtown Red Bank, N.J. Last year, the company launched its franchise program with the opening of a location in The Commons at Holmdel, a major lifestyle center in northern Monmouth County. The chain’s third restaurant is scheduled to debut at Hoboken’s Marineview Plaza in the first quarter of 2008, as the company advances on its plan to have 15 to 20 franchised locations in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania markets over the next five years.
